Mining ZEC.
Building toward born private.

The only hosted mining program building toward block rewards sent directly to Orchard shielded addresses. Source a Z15 Pro at bulk pricing. Ship direct to a hydro-powered facility in Norway. Own your hardware. Own your privacy.

Shielded coinbase · Direct ownership · GDPR jurisdiction · Hydro powered · Community pricing

You mine a privacy coin. Your transactions use zero-knowledge proofs. Your wallet is shielded.

But your block rewards arrive at a transparent address. Your pool knows your wallet. The blockchain records that link permanently. The privacy chain is broken before you ever spend a coin.

Every mining pool and hosting provider sends rewards to transparent addresses. Foundry's upcoming institutional pool will do the same. Nordic Shield is building the alternative: a hosted mining program deploying the Zcash Foundation's shielded coinbase pipeline, where your ZEC is private from the moment it is created.

Standard mining vs. shielded coinbase.

The difference is where your block reward is born.

Orchard
Zcash's shielded pool. Halo 2 proving system. Where your block rewards live, encrypted.
Proven on mainnet block 3222336 (January 30, 2026). Open source. Built by the Zcash Foundation. Shielded coinbase pipeline is under active deployment. Standard pool mining available at launch.

Six layers. Privacy from block reward to wallet.

Shielded coinbase is the foundation. The other five layers protect your operation from jurisdiction to energy source.

CORE
1
🔒 Shielded Coinbase Mining
Block rewards sent directly to Orchard shielded addresses via the Zebra + S-NOMP Dockerized pipeline. Your ZEC is born private. No transparent address. No on-chain link between your hashrate and your wallet. Standard pool mining available at launch; shielded coinbase deploying as the pipeline ships from the Zcash Foundation.
2
⛏ Hardware Sovereignty
You own your Z15 Pro. Serial numbers listed on your hosting contract. You choose your pool, set payout addresses, and control firmware. Physical hardware registered to you.
3
🛡 Norwegian Legal Framework
Hosted in Norway under the GDPR. Mining activity data is governed by European data protection law. Third-party disclosure requests are subject to Norwegian and EU legal process, a higher threshold than many alternative jurisdictions.
4
📦 Corporate Import Structure
Hardware imported through the hosting provider's Norwegian AS entity as importer of record. Your name does not appear on customs documentation. Ownership documented on your contract by serial number.
5
🌊 Renewable Energy Baseline
Norway's grid runs on approximately 93% hydroelectric power. This removes the energy-consumption angle regulators have used to restrict mining in other jurisdictions. Sustainable by default.
6
💰 ZEC Payment Rails
We are building the option to pay hosting fees in ZEC, removing bank wires to a 'crypto mining company' from your statements. Frontier Compute will handle ZEC collection and EUR conversion. Target: available at program launch.

From purchase to hashing.

Nordic Shield handles the full path. Hardware at volume pricing, direct shipping to Norway, and operational hosting with a roadmap to shielded coinbase.

Source
Z15 Pro ASICs at bulk pricing. Program participants access volume rates unavailable to individual buyers. Hardware ships directly to Norway.
02
Ship & Import
Shipped to Northern Norway. Hosting provider's Norwegian AS entity is importer of record. VAT-free. No customs paperwork on your end.
03

Racked, connected, hashing. Foreman dashboard for monitoring, pool switching, reboots. Standard pool at launch. Shielded coinbase when pipeline deploys.
Contract mechanics. No ambiguity.
Hosting provider: Norwegian hosting partner (details shared upon inquiry)
Contract: Direct between you and the hosting provider. Frontier Compute facilitates, does not intermediate.
Hardware: 100% yours. Serial numbers on contract.
Monitoring: Personal Foreman dashboard. Pool switching, reboots, stats.
Import: Hosting provider's entity is importer of record. €90 customs handling per shipment (up to 10 units).
Deposit: 2 months hosting, refundable.
Terms: 1, 2, or 3 years. 2-year recommended.
Exit: Hardware ships to any destination. Standard shipping costs.

Straight answers.

What is shielded coinbase mining? +
Standard mining sends block rewards to a transparent address visible on the public blockchain. Shielded coinbase mining sends rewards directly to an Orchard shielded address using the Zebra + S-NOMP Dockerized pipeline. Your ZEC is created private and never touches a transparent address. This was proven on Zcash mainnet block 3222336 on January 30, 2026.
Is shielded coinbase mining live now? +
The technology is proven on mainnet. The Zcash Foundation's implementation (Zebra PRs #10048 and #10301) is functional and under review. Frontier Compute is actively deploying and testing the Dockerized stack. At program launch, participants mine to a standard pool. When the pipeline is production-ready, shielded coinbase becomes available. Standard pool mining remains an option for those who prefer it.
Do I own the mining hardware? +
Yes. You purchase the Z15 Pro. Serial numbers are listed on your hosting contract. The hardware is 100% your property throughout the contract and after. At contract end, the miner ships to any destination you specify.
Who is the importer of record? +
The hosting provider's Norwegian AS entity acts as importer of record. Your personal name does not appear on customs documentation. Ownership is documented on your hosting contract by serial number.
Can I choose my own mining pool? +
Yes. You have full Foreman dashboard access and can select, change, or switch pools at any time. When shielded coinbase deploys, you can opt into the self-hosted pool or stay on a standard pool. Your choice.
What is the contract structure? +
You sign a direct hosting contract with our Norwegian hosting partner. Frontier Compute facilitates the program — aggregating demand, coordinating hardware sourcing, deploying the shielded coinbase stack, and providing community support — but is not a party to your hosting contract.
What happens at end of contract? +
Your hardware is yours. Renew, ship to a new location, or have it returned. Standard shipping costs apply. No penalties for choosing not to renew.
How does community volume pricing work? +
All program participants' power consumption counts toward shared volume thresholds. At 100 kW aggregate, the hosting rate decreases for all participants. More miners in the program means better rates for everyone.

Shielded coinbase. Hardware sovereignty. Norwegian legal framework. Renewable energy. Community pricing. Direct contract. One program.
